The Second Sex, (1949) by Simone de Beauvoir. When the crickets in a box with a sentence from the book chirp, it seems like a message to the person in the room. The installation has been shown in the Ostseebiennale der Klangkunst, Ystad Art Museum, 2006 and If things do not happen II, Wuthering Heights, Malmö, 2007. |
